The FLOW Motorsport 4” FWD Race Downpipe is the ultimate foundation for front-wheel-drive MQB builds running the EA888 Gen 3 1.8T/2.0T engine. Designed for both stock turbos and upgraded hybrid/full-frame setups, this downpipe delivers maximum flow, faster spool, and unmatched durability.

Performance Engineering

• True 4” Mandrel-Bent Design – Smooth transitions, reduced turbulence, and maximum exhaust flow.
• TIG-Welded & Back-Purged – Precision welds built to withstand extreme heat, boost, and track abuse.
• 4” → 3” post flex pipe Transition Design – Retains spool gains while ensuring full compatibility with OEM or aftermarket cat-backs.
• Spool Improvements – Expect boost response gains of 300–500 RPM faster than restrictive 3” or catted systems, delivering stronger mid-range torque and improved drivability.

Optional High-Flow Cat
Unique to the FLOW XL Race series, this downpipe supports a 200-cell high-flow catalytic converter option – a special offering in a 4” design. Choose the race version for maximum flow, or the high-flow cat option for a balance of performance and reduced emissions.
